The Year 2019 is about to depart. So everyone is ready to welcome the New Year 2020. Bollywood too is preparing for the New Year. Bollywood 2019 witnessed many successful movies such as Kabir Singh, Uri-The Surgical Strike, Bharat, Kesari, War,Chichhore and many other names. There are several highly anticipated film releases at the box office in coming year. Some of those films will even compete with each other. Some of the biggest stars in Bollywood will compete against each others. Here are the list of biggest clashes happening in 2020;
1. ‘Chhapak’ vs ‘Tanhji’
Date of Release – January 10, 2020
Two new films ‘Chhapak’ and ‘Tanhji’ are debuting on January , the first of the New Year, ie the 10th of January. ‘Chhapak’ is a film starring Deepika Padukone and Ajay Devgn in ‘Tanhji’. Both films have been seen hitting the box office. Ajay Devgn’s period drama is based on the life of the brave Maratha military leader Tanhaji Malusare and is directed by Om Raut while Deepika Padukone’s Chhapaak is based on the real-life of an acid attack survivor and is directed by Meghna Gulzar. Both films will dive into real life inspired stories.
2. ‘Malang’ vs ‘Love Aajkaal’
Date of Release – February 14, 2020
In Valentine’s Day , the movie ‘Love Aajkaal’ and ‘Malang’ are being released. ‘Love Aajkaal’ is a film starring Sara Ali Khan and Karthik Aryan, while the main role of Aditya Rai Kapoor and Disha Patani can be seen in Malang. Both films are currently under discussion. Fans have been eagerly waiting to see Kartik and Sara on screen together.
3.’Panga’ vs ‘Street Dancer 3D ‘
Date of Release – January 24, 2020
Actress Kangana Ranawat, who can play the film alone, is struggling with the movie ‘Panga’ starring ‘Street Dancer’. ‘Street Dancer 3D’ is the main role of Varun Dhawan. Street Dancer 3D is a fictional dance film that is directed by Remo D’Souza where as Panga is a sports-drama movie from the life of a national level Kabbadi player from India.
4.’The Haunted Ship’ vs ‘ Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan ’
Date of Release – February 21, 2020
Best Actor award winner Ayushman Khurana and Vikki Kaushal will compete with each other in film . Bollywood hit machine Ayushman’s film ‘ Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan ‘ is teeming with Bikki Kaushal’s horror movie, The Haunted Ship. Ayushmann Khurrana’s Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is based on LGBTQIA community.
5.’Radhe’ vs ‘Lakshmi Bomb’
Date of Release – EID 2020
The Radhe and Lakshmi bomb movie may be the biggest fight of the year. ‘Radhe’ is a film of Salman Khan and ‘Lakshmi Bomb’ is a waiting film starring Akshay Kumar. Both films are releasing on the occasion of Eid. Salman Khan will be back as daredevil cop, Radhe in his upcoming film directed by Prabhu deva while Akshay Kumar will be seen portraying a very special and unique role Laxmmi Bomb is directed by Raghava Lawrence. The first look of both the films were loved by the audience.
6.Laal Singh Chaddha vs Bachchan Pandey
Date of Release – Christmas 2020
Aamir Khan is coming back after a very long time with the much-awaited film Laal Singh Chaddha and Akshay Kumar’s intense look in Bachchan Pandey has also created a lot of hype among his fans. Both the films are set to release at the box office during Christmas 2020 . Laal Singh Chaddha is an official adaptation of classic Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks, but there isn’t much known about the Ajay Devgn Ranbir Kapoor-starrer, but it is bound to be big like the names attached to it.
